GRADING
SYSTEM
Grades of "A" "B"
"C" & "D" are the acceptable marks for
the completion of a single course, and are used as permanent grades
for a student's transcript along with the percentage made on the
course. A grade of "F" (failure) is given for work,
which results in a percentage of 59% and below.
Grades are expressed in an Alpha-Numeric
System, and a final numeric grade point average (GPA) is computed
for the student each term for that term's work and also for the
cumulative GPA. Letter grades, the range of final course grades
(in percentages), and the points awarded are as follows:

Class
Units: A unit of credit is the semester hour.
The terms "Unit", Credits" and Hour are synonymous.
A two unit class meets two times a week and three unit classes
meets three times a week. Each class session is 70 minutes in
duration.
